Fire apparatus

A fire apparatus, fire engine, fire truck, or fire appliance is a vehicle designed to assist in fighting fires by transporting firefighters to the scene and providing them with access to the fire, along with water or other equipment. In some areas, the terms fire engine and fire truck represent different types of firefighting apparatus.

Chicago Fire Department

The Chicago Fire Department, also known as the CFD, is the principal fire suppression, prevention, and rescue agency of Chicago, Illinois, under the jurisdiction of the mayor of Chicago. The Chicago Fire Department is the second largest fire department in the United States after the New York City Fire Department, as measured by sworn personnel (firefighters). It is also one of the oldest major organized fire departments in the nation.

The Fire Truck House, built by Charles Hodges in 1904, served as Stanford University's firehouse until the 1960s, when a new fire department was built on Serra Street.

Fire Truck (video game)

Fire Truck is a black-and-white 1978 arcade game. It was developed and published by Atari, Inc.. According to GamesRadar, it was the earliest video game with cooperative gameplay where two players were forced to work together. A one-player version of the game, called Smokey Joe was also released. This was internally identical to Fire Truck.
